Jeanni Meyer

John’s sweet wife, Jeanni, suffered a brain aneurysm on July 24, 2025 several minutes before going out the door to her beloved Women’ Bible Study at Grace Bible Church. She never regained consciousness. God called her home quickly with no suffering. He called her at the moment He had grown her to full bloom like a lovely rose. She had no fear of death. She looked forward eagerly to seeing Jesus face to face. She is terribly missed and our grieving is deep and real, while at the same time we rejoice knowing she is experiencing unending joy that surpasses all our understanding. To God be the Glory.

Jeanni Meyer was born to Louis and Erma Ciccotti in Scranton, PA on February 25, 1942. She and her mother moved to Long Island, NY when she was in high school. Jeanni met John Meyer in 1990 and they were married in 1994 after a four-year courtship. They each had two adult children.

Jeanni loved the beauty of God’s Creation, her family, her church and her Lord. She worked many different jobs as a single mother. Not long after marrying John she stopped working outside the home and devoted herself to making a loving and lovely home for the two of them and she did it well.

Her smile, laughter, warmness, loveliness inside and out graced everyone who came into her midst. She was an image bearer of her Creator bearing his love for beauty and compassion for the afflicted with her gentle loving ways.

Jeanni is survived by her daughter Michelle Brown, Durango, Co; son Kevin Wipaki, Morristown, VT; five grandchildren, and older brother Jay Ciccotti, Reno, NV. Two other brothers preceded her in passing. True to form, she also loved and cared for John’s two children, Traci Thomas, Charlottesville, VA and J.R. Meyer, Clayton, CA, and six grandchildren. She covered them all with much prayer and loved to share about her precious Jesus with them.

The family gathered for a funeral and burial in August.

A memorial celebration of Jeanni’s life will be held September 13, 2025 at 1PM. All who wish to attend are welcomed and will be a blessing to John and the entire family and to her church. It will be held at John and Jeanni’s church: Grace Bible Church, 40 Cleaveland Road, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523.
