Jeanette Confalone

Jeanette Confalone, born in Newark, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, at the age of 97.

A devoted mother and proud matriarch, Jeanette is survived by her seven children—Peter, Gwen (Jeff), Paul (Julie), Beth (Bill), Kim (Scott), Lynn, and Jay (Robyn)—as well as 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Erich and Florence Berger, and her husband, Peter A. Confalone.

Jeanette’s Catholic faith shaped much of her life, as did her affection for her Irish roots, evident in every corner of her home. Her family will remember her for her sharp wit, deep loyalty, and the simple rituals that brought her joy: a slice of lemon meringue pie, Wheel of Fortune playing in the background, and the memories of summers spent in Seaside Park.

Her legacy lives on in the family she raised, the values she instilled, and the countless ways she showed up for the people she loved.

There will be a mass of Christian burial on Monday, June 23, 2025 from 10-11 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Catasauqua. Interment to follow at the church cemetery.
