JEANETTE CASTALDO

JEANETTE CASTALDO (nee Schwickrath), a longtime resident of Yonkers NY, formerly of Mt. Vernon NY, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Friday, January 31, 2025. She was 68.

Jeanette loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She was very selfless and empathetic to everyone she met. She loved cleaning her home, taking trips to Atlantic City, and was a longtime fan of Elvis. She was also a VFW Post 1666 Auxiliary Member and an avid worker at many veteran events.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Canio, her children, Nicholena “Nikki” Abadia (Jose) and Carmine Myers (Eliana), her siblings, Paulette “Shorty”, Keith, Susie, Laura, Dawn, Billy and Kathy and their spouses, her grandchildren, Willie, Victorea, Mia, Anthony and Nicholena , numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation for Jeanette will take place on, Wednesday, February 5th, from 4PM to 8PM in DUCHYNSKI-CHERKO Funeral Home. Interment is Private.
