Jason Kinnaird

Jason Alan Kinnaird, 49, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 9:09 A.M. Thursday, October 23, 2025, at his home. He was born September 6, 1976, in Danville, IL, the son of Ross and Sandra (Davis) Kinnaird. They survive in Hoopeston.

He is also survived by one daughter, Allyson Kinnaird; two sons, Hunter Kinnaird of Hoopeston, IL and Bryce Kinnaird of Texas; one sister, Beth Johnson (Shane Rice) of Danville, IL; two brothers, Brian (Missy) Kinnaird of Hoopeston, IL and Jacob (Cristen) Kinnaird of Gibson City, IL; one grandchild, Noah Michael Pierce; 7 nieces and nephews, Morgan and Breanna Johnson, Gage Jerome, and Brandon, Karsen, Joanna and Payton Kinnaird; and 8 great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his infant son; maternal grandmother, Beverly Jane Bivins; paternal grandparents, Jim and Betty Smithers; one aunt, Paula Hiser; and three uncles, Bobby Kinnaird Sr., Greg Smithers, and John Bartmess.

Jason worked in construction. He enjoyed coaching his son Hunter in baseball, going fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Cremation rites will be accorded, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
