James “Jim” Richards
James “Jim” R. Richards 87, of Springfield, died at 11:45 am, Thursday, September 4, 2025. He was born August 20, 1938, in Springfield, to Clarence “Kie” And Stella Boyd Richards.
Survivors include two daughters, Becky Donley (Ed Flesch) of Springfield and Dawn Rena (David) Thompson of Williamsville; granddaughter, Veronica (Joey) Bigley of Riverview, FL and great granddaughter, Lola Belle Bigley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Ronald and one infant brother.
Jim was the owner of Kie Richards Tavern for more than fifty years. Where everyone enjoyed a beer and his chili.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gambling. He was a member of the Aqua Club.
A private family burial will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
