Jacqueline Vivian LaFranchi passed away on June 29, 2025, at the age of 93. She was born in Tacoma, Washington to Jack and Lillian Zander on April 1, 1932.
As a child, the family moved around quite a bit. Through these moves she was always able to assimilate herself in new environments, making new friends along the way. Jacqueline graduated from Analy High School in 1950. She married Donald LaFranchi. A city girl at heart, Jacqueline quickly learned what life was like marrying into a farming family, realizing she had to go to sleep earlier than expected because she was up before she knew it. She worked hard and instilled the values of truthfulness in her family.
Jacqueline loved shopping. It was her favorite thing to do. And shopping was not just a few hour break in the day, it was a day long event. She was a woman with impeccable style, always keeping up with the trends. She also loved parties and dancing. Jacqueline was a member of many clubs, but one of her favorites was the Newcomers Club of Santa Rosa. Here she was able to meet many wonderful friends and enjoy numerous types of activities.
Jacqueline is survived by her daughters Joan Rexford (Ray) and Susan Scinto (Jim), and sisters Lucille Godwin, Carol Black-Calderwood, and Janet Lusby. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald LaFranchi.
A memorial service for Jacqueline will be held Santa Rosa Memorial Park Chapel on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 11:00 am. Private inurnment, Santa Rosa Memorial Park.
