With profound sadness and hearts full of love, we announce the passing of our precious angel, Israeleigh Rafaela Gause, who returned to heaven on May 8, 2025, just two days before what would have been her sixth birthday.
Israeleigh, affectionately known as ‘Izzie’ to her loved ones, was a resilient soul. Despite being born with a rare genetic disorder that limited her ability to communicate verbally, she found ways to express her love and joy. Her special bond with her parents, who understood her unique language of love, is a testament to her resilience and the power of unconditional love.
Izzie’s presence was a quiet but powerful gift to everyone who knew her. She found happiness in watching her favorite television show (Rosie’s Rules) and observing her siblings at play, content in her peaceful world. Her sweet, gentle spirit and expressive eyes spoke volumes, revealing a soul full of wisdom beyond her years.
Left to cherish her beautiful memory are her devoted parents, Joe & Memory Gause, who nurtured her with unwavering dedication; her loving sister Joella, and twin brother Judah and other brother John who always included her in their hearts and activities; her maternal grandparents Linda (Vincent) Banks and Charles (Tabitha) Mc Cadney, paternal grandparents Angela Moore and Joseph Gause Sr. who adored their precious granddaughter; her two great grandmothers Mary(Leon) Hawkins and Rosetta Roberson who were blessed with the gift of knowing their beautiful great granddaughter; her aunt Kenya Askew, two uncles Ricardo Hill and Antwan Moore, and many cousins, great aunts and uncles who all held a special place in their hearts for Izzie. Her teachers, classmates, and friends will forever remember the subtle ways she touched their lives and the essential lessons her life taught them about patience, acceptance, and appreciating each day as a gift.
Israeleigh’s time with us may have been brief, but her lessons were profound. She showed us the importance of patience, acceptance, and appreciating each day as a gift. Her life was a gentle reminder to cherish the simple joys and to find beauty in every moment.
As we bid farewell to Israeleigh, we find solace in knowing she is now free from all limitations. In heaven’s glory, she dances, sings, and speaks freely. Until we meet again, our precious angel, may you rest in eternal peace and joy.
