Irudayaraj Peri

Irudayaraj Peri passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025, at the age of 76, in Aldie, Virginia, at home, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on October 1, 1948, in Pondicherry, India, Irudayaraj built a life grounded in faith, family, and quiet strength. He was the beloved husband of Mary Vanaja Peri, with whom he shared 54 years of devoted marriage.

He was a loving father to Jesintha Vikram and her husband Vivek, Charles Peri and his wife Diana, Linda Peri, Andre Peri and his wife Jeromy, and Diana Peri and her husband Kartic. He was a cherished grandfather to Preetha, Jaiden, Raphael, Shreya, Athikan, Vishal, Vian, Aashi and Keshav. His legacy lives on through their lives, laughter, and the values he instilled in them.

Irudayaraj is survived by his siblings Ivan Paul Peri, Devaraj Peri, Lou Peri, Martha Savari, and Maria Flaubert, along with their spouses and families. He is also remembered with love and pride by many relatives and dear friends across the globe.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arokiaswamy Peri and Amalore Peri, and his older brother, Anthony Joseph.

Irudayaraj will be remembered for his humility, dedication to family, and quiet wisdom. His presence brought comfort and steadiness, and his memory will continue to guide those who knew and loved him.
