Irene Ferreira

Irene A. Ferreira, 96, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025. Born in Home Park, PA., she was the daughter of the late Louis and Rose (Wunderler) Feiller. She was married to the late Frank Ferreira for 67 years.

Retiring in 1990, she worked for the garment industry for 45 years. She was a member of St. Peter’s R.C. Church in Coplay, PA.

Irene enjoyed baking, gardening and spending time with family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons Scott Ferreira and his husband Kevin Rochlitz of Palm Springs, CA. and Mark Ferreira of Allentown, PA, a sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six brothers and sisters. 

There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made directly to the church or The Stroke Foundation, P.O. Box 16427, Sugar Land, TX 77496.
