1931-2024

Stewartsville, MO….Hazel Alene Euler, age 93, was born July 19, 1931 in Platte County, Missouri, the daughter of Henry Roy and Maude Alene (Towns) Neff and passed away December 6, 2024.

Hazel grew up in Graham, Missouri and graduated from Graham High School.  After graduating High School, Hazel went to Gard Business School in St. Joseph, Missouri, and upon graduating she worked as a bookkeeper for Chase Candy Company and St. Joseph Radio and Supply. 

Hazel and Emmett William Euler were united in marriage on April 25, 1953, and to this union two children were born.  Hazel and Bill bought their first land in 1964 and moved to Stewartsville where they farmed together and raised their family.  She was known for baking pies and everyone that knew her, would request their favorites.  Hazel was a wonderful mother and grandmother who loved her family very much. She never knew a stranger. On November 21st, she prayed to accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; step-mother, Rachel (Johnson) Neff; eight brothers and sisters, HR Neff, Harold Neff, Nelson Neff, Lloyd Neff, Laverne Elfeldt, Mary Madore, Jean Kiser, and Howard Neff; and granddaughter, Erin.

Survivors include two sons, David (Marylou) Euler and Richard (Kathleen) Euler; brother, Bill (Sue) Neff, Graham, MO; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Stewartsville with burial following at Old School Presbyterian Cemetery, Stewartsville, MO., under the direction of Turner Family Funeral Home of Stewartsville.  Visitation:  two hours prior to funeral services at the church.  Memorial Contributions:  Old School Presbyterian Cemetery.
