Classic country and honk-tonk is on tap Saturday night in the capital city as part of the Levitt Amp outdoor Carson City concert series as Paige & The Overtones will take the stage. The opening act is Western Kingbirds.
Based in Las Vegas, Paige & The Overtones are a honky-tonk county band that takes great pride in keeping the classic country sound alive. Their deep-rooted love for outlaw country shines through lyrically and musically, tapping into the heart of country soul. Their high energy performance is a celebration of the golden era of country music. Collectively, they have opened for such national acts as Willie Nelson, Wanda Jackson, Dick Dale and Junior Brown.
Music starts at 7 p.m. Saturday at the BAC Outdoor Stage, 449 West King Street in Carson City. As always, concerts are free. For additional fun the BAC campus will have a kids area, food trucks and beverage bars. Lawn chairs are welcome but folding chairs will be available for those that prefer to travel light. Well behaved pets on leashes are welcome too.
The Levitt AMP Carson City Music Series is made possible by Connections Central. The BAC is also able to present the series thanks to the dedication of sponsors who believe in the transformative power of barrier free access to live music. Carson City residents and visitors from all walks of life are welcomed to gather and make life long memories thanks to the generosity of Kilpatrick Bullentini Law, The Federal Hotel, Max Casino, and Visit Carson City. Sponsors also include Carson City Downtown Business Association, Nashville Social Club and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Nevada.
Motorists are advised that 2nd Street between Thompson Street and Division Street will be closed Saturdays, from June 21, 2025, to August 23, 2025, 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., for the Levitt Amp Summer Concert series.
The Levitt AMP Carson City Music Series is supported in part by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation. In 2024, the national Levitt network of music venues and concert sites is presenting 650+ free concerts in 45 towns and cities, with audiences over 750,000. In addition to supporting free concerts, the Levitt Foundation is dedicated to advancing equitable music ecosystems through research and partnerships.
