Giuseppina DeMaria

Giuseppina DeMaria, a resident of White Plains, NY, passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 86. Giuseppina was born on January 13, 1939, in Colonella, Abruzzi, Italy to the late Chiara (nee Cichetti) and Antonio Ripani.

Giuseppina married the love of her life Antonio DeMaria on April 4, 1964, in the Bronx, NY. Antonio predeceased in 2023.

Giuseppina was a salesperson working for several companies for over 40 years. Those companies were Abraham & Strauss, JC Penny and Lord & Taylor. She retired in 2009.

Giuseppina was a long-time member of the Antonio Meucci Lodge #213 in White Plains, NY.

Giuseppina loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Even though she didn’t speak English very well, she always liked to interact with people. Every time she was taken out, she always met someone from one of the department stores she worked at during her lifetime.

Giuseppina is survived by her loving children Nicola DeMaria of White Plains, Anthony and his wife Carmelina DeMaria of White Plains and Maria and her husband Nicholas Malandro of Valhalla; and her cherished grandchildren Anthony DeMaria, Diana DeMaria, Sophia Malandro and Isabella Malandro; and her adoring brother Giovanni and his wife Pasqualina Ripani.
