Giovanni Lusi

Giovanni Lusi of Rye Brook died after a brief llness on Friday November 22nd 2024. He was 91. 

Mr. Lusi worked as a landscaper for Labriola Landscaping in White Plains. He was with the company for many years before retiring at the age of 62. He was a member of soft drink-brewery workers local 812. Mr. Lusi was born November 17th 1933 in San Giovanni comune di Tornareccio prov. Chieti, Italy. On February 25th 1960 he married Lina di Nardo of Colledimezzo prov. Chieti, Italy. Mr. Lusi lived in Rye Brook since 1974. Before that he lived in White Plains, NY and previously spent 10 years in Germany. Mr. Lusi will be remembered for his deep passion for gardening, his unwavering work ethic, and his remarkable physical vitality. He is survived by his brother Frederico, sister Anna and multiple nieces and nephews. 

Calling hoursare 4-8 pm at Joseph Tutera Funeral Home on November 29th. The funeral is at 9:30 am on November 30th at Corpus Christi Church. Entombment will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Rye Brook.
