Gina Turek

Gina M. Turek, age 53 of Hinckley, IL passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 20, 2025 at her home. She was born in Evergreen Park, IL on July 14, 1971 the daughter of Russell and Peggy (Bryant) Lindenborg.

Gina was united in marriage on October 25, 2008 to Mr. Paul Turek and the spent the next 16 years happily together. She was both a member and the church secretary, of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hinckley, IL. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Turek of Hinckley, IL; her son, Jason Worner of Chicago, IL; her mother, Peggy Morrone of Lyons, IL; and her stepsister, Sandy Manetti of Plainfield, IL.

Gina was preceded in death by her father, Russell Lindenborg; her stepfather, Anthony Morrone; her son, Joshua Worner; and her stepsister, Betty Jo Daniel.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 12760 Lee Road, Hinckley, IL. Interment will take place at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL.

Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel, 141 N. Maple Street, Hinckley, IL.
