Gerard Dimuro

Gerard Joseph Dimuro has passed away at 71.

Born in the Bronx, Gerard was a career NYPD homicide detective (although he oftentimes couldn’t solve the mystery of where his keys went); the greatest exaggerator of his generation (if not of all-time); a ham; a beyond-voracious eater; a great listener, even if he did interrupt conversations constantly; and a loving father and husband. In fact, all he that was, was too much than an obituary can capture.

He also didn’t like things to get too sad or serious. So in the spirit of Gerard — who’s gone but will never be gone — let’s keep it light. And “Let’s eat.”
