George LaBounty

George C. LaBounty, 87, was born June 7, 1938, and passed away on Thursday, July 31st, 2025, in Granbury.

George served in the United States Navy and was a member of the Granbury American Legion Post.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Iris Virginia LaBounty in 2021.

George is survived by his sons, Stephen (Steve) Medford of Granbury and Jon Medford and his wife Donna of Watauga; grandson Phillip Stephen Medford; his sisters Peggy and Carol.

Visitation will be from 6-8pm. on Friday, August 8th, 2025, at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.

Funeral services will be held at 11am. Saturday, August 9th, 2025, at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel in Granbury with burial following at Holly Hills Memorial Park in Granbury.
