GENOWEFA KULAGA

GENOWEFA KULAGA (nee Kuta), a longtime resident of Yonkers NY, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at age 99.

She was born in Kaczowka Poland and was the daughter of the late Stanislaw and Aleksandra (Kielbasa) Kuta.

Genowefa is survived by her children, Helen Laski, Wanda Wasilewski (Raymond) and Anna Maddalena (Anthony), 6 grandchildren, Anthony (Debbie), Beatrice (Thomas), Diane (Peter), Laurie (Robert), Nicholas (Paige) and Justin, 9 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Drew, Benjamin, Caitlyn, Lucas, Ella, Nathan, Ethan and Matthew, and by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Zygmunt, her infant son, Roman, her son-in-law, Joseph Laski, and her brothers, Zygmunt, Roman, Wladyslaw and Jan.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 3PM to 7PM in DUCHYNSKI-CHERKO Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Casimir’s Church, on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 10AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
