In Loving Memory of Gary Wayne Loger

August 2, 1957 – May 27, 2025

Gary Wayne Loger, 67, of North Branch, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025. Born in Ely, MN, to Leonard and Gladys Loger, Gary was raised in North Branch, where he built a life rooted in hard work, creativity, and love for his family and community.

A man of many trades, Gary worked at the local feed mill and pursued a variety of hands-on professions throughout his life. He studied Drafting in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, and brought his meticulous craftsmanship to every project he touched. Gary was especially known for his love of creating intricate beadwork, beautifully crafted birdhouses, or handmade arrows. He poured his heart into his work and gave freely of his creations to friends and family, always generous with his time and talents.

Gary proudly served in the United States Army from August 2, 1975, to December 14, 1982. His years of service took him across the world, but his heart always remained in North Branch, where he eventually returned to plant deep roots.

He is survived by his four children: Stephanie (Daniel) Loger; Jeremy Loger; Elisabeth Loger; and Jennifer Loger. He was a grandfather to eight grandchildren. Gary is also survived by his siblings: Elaine (Q) Crowe, Roselee Williams, Cindy (Rick) Staples, and Leonard Loger, Jr.; along with many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and his dear friend Tara Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Tara Tidgwell, and his parents, Leonard and Gladys Loger.

Gary will be remembered for his kind heart, his skilled hands, and the quiet strength he carried through life. His legacy lives on in the memories he created, the love he gave, and the many lives he touched.

A private family interment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Harris at a later date.
