Fundraiser underway after Heavenly day care manager’s tragic death

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The friends and family of Cassidy Simpson Arnold are pulling together for Cassidy’s husband, Trent Arnold, and their two sons after her tragic death the day before Thanksgiving.

On Nov. 26, Cassidy passed away after experiencing complications from an emergency C-section. 

Cassidy was the day care manager at Heavenly Mountain Resort in South Lake Tahoe. She previously worked at the Lake Tahoe Community College Child Development Center.

A GoFundMe fundraiser has been started to help Trent as he faces life without his wife, and with two young sons, a newborn and a four-year-old. Funds raised will help with medical bills and funeral expenses.
