Frankie Deckard

Frankie Dean Deckard, 89, has knitted her last pattern and peacefully passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025. 

Visitation and viewing will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin’s Funeral Home in Granbury. A graveside service will follow at Holly Hills Memorial Park from approximately 2:15 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Clyde E. Deckard.

Frankie Dean Deckard was born in Comanche, TX, on March 28, 1935. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother, as well as a devoted wife of 60 years to Clyde Deckard. Together, they explored the world through Clyde’s military service and, in their later years, enjoyed traveling with the Good Sam’s R.V. Club. Frankie and Clyde cherished the camaraderie of their fellow travelers, sharing cookouts, playing games, and living life to its fullest.

A devoted Christian, Frankie loved attending church and spreading joy wherever she went. She had an incredible gift for making everyone she met feel welcomed, loved, and happy.

Frankie was preceded in death by her husband, her two daughters, her parents, and her sister. She is survived by her son-in-law, seven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish her memory and carry on her legacy of love and kindness.

Frankie Dean Deckard will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
