It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Frank LeDonne, age 72, of Mamaroneck, NY, on July 11, 2025. Frank was born on January 7, 1953, in L’Aquilia, Italy, and grew up in West Harrison, NY in a close-knit family that instilled in him the values of hard work, loyalty, and love.

Frank was a devoted father to his sons, Anthony (Kimberly)and Frank (Kimberly), and cherished grandfather to his four grandchildren, Jake, Brooke, Sofie, and Emme all of whom he adored beyond measure. His pride in his sons and grandchildren was clear to all who knew him. He is also survived by his beloved partner, MaryEllen, and his siblings, Caroline (Joe), Italo (Debbie), and Rosa Maria (Anthony). He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Aquilina, and his parents, Antonio and Maria.

As a successful business owner, Frank operated his own landscaping business, where he worked side-by-side with his son, building a legacy of dedication and craftsmanship that will be remembered by many. He was known for his work ethic, his kindness, and his ability to make everyone feel like family.

Frank had a deep passion for golf and loved spending his free time on the course. His enthusiasm for the game was only matched by his love of race horses, an activity that brought him great joy and excitement. Frank’s favorite place was Myrtle Beach, where he found peace and contentment, surrounded by golf courses and the warmth of good company.

Frank’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on through the love of his family, his cherished friends, and the many lives he touched throughout his life. He was a man of quiet strength and unwavering loyalty, whose love was constant and deeply felt, even if not always spoken. Frank’s strong and steady presence was a source of comfort and reliability—he led with quiet conviction, offered support without seeking recognition, and gave his heart generously to those he loved. His legacy is one of integrity, devotion, and enduring love.
