With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Frank Scanlon, a cherished father,
brother, and son, who left us on August 21, 2025. Born on October 14, 1970, Frank
led a life defined by kindness, passion, and care.
Frank is lovingly remembered by his sons, Joseph, Matthew, and Frank Scanlon.
They’re the living testament to their father’s enduring love, wisdom, and guidance. His
siblings, Melissa and David Scanlon, also survive him. Frank was predeceased by his
father, Frank Scanlon, his mother, Arlene Scanlon (nee: Hennessy), and his dear Aunt,
Dolores Hennessy.
Not only was Frank a treasured family man, but he was also an accomplished pool
player, frequently winning various tournaments. He was a great devotee of the
Yankees and often relaxed by watching pool tournaments on television. His favorite
pastime, however, was spending quality time with his children, cherishing each
moment.
Frank’s legacy is one of heart and ambition, characterized by a profound love for his
family, his favorite hot pizza & pasta, and iced tea. His love for freestyle & jazz music
deeply enriched his life and those around him. His life lessons of respect and standing
up for oneself have made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
As we remember and mourn Frank, we would also like to honor his memory in a way
that reflects his spirit. In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that donations be made to
“Help give us Frankie the memorial he deserves” at: https://gofund.me/013dccfe
As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate a life well-lived, overflowing with love,
accomplishment, and vibrant passions. His enduring spirit and the lessons he left us
will continue to inspire and guide us. Rest in peace, dear Frank.
