Frances Johnson

Mrs. Frances Ann Hubrel Johnson, age 77, a resident of Ashdown, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Christus St. Michael in Texarkana, Texas.

Frances was born on March 28, 1948, in Ashdown, Arkansas. She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James Francis and Ramona Jean Crawford Hubrel; one sister, Carol McAllister, and one brother, Mike Hubrel.

She is survived by her husband, James “Spud” Johnson of Ashdown; one daughter, Lisa, and her husband, James Crouse of Chidester, Arkansas; one son, Michael Johnson and his wife Michelle of Foreman, AR; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerald (Sandy) Hubrel, Bill (Peggy) Hubrel and John (Patti) Hubrel; four grandchildren, Blake (Kendra) and Blaine Crouse, Dylan and Taylor Johnson; one great-granddaughter, Emma Crouse and a number of nieces and nephews.
