Frances Ann Allen

Frances Ann Parrish Allen, 81, of Perry, GA., formerly of Quincy, FL., passed away July 26, 2025, in Perry. She was born January 21,1944, in Marianna, Florida. She married Tommy Allen on December 20, 1963, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, of which she was a member, and they enjoyed 55 years of marriage. She also helped Tommy in his mobile home and RV business. Tommy passed away in2018 and now she joins him in Heaven. It must have been a glorious reunion for them.

Frances attended Quincy High School and was a majorette in the high school band.

Frances was one pf the most kind and gentle people you’ll ever meet. She loved God and her family unconditionally and was always ready to help whoever needed her without question.

She is survived by her sister, Margie Allen; nephews, John Allen of Quincy, Lamar Allen of Perry, GA., Josh Allen and Shawn Allen, both of Tallahassee, Bob, Gary and Burt Hadaway, all of Macon, Mississippi; nieces, Julie Mathis of Cairo, GA., Robin Allen of Sneads, FL., and countless great-nieces and nephews.

Frances is also survived by a younger cousin, Cheryl Lindenmuth, whom her mother and father, Clyde and Rachel Parrish helped raise and Frances thought of as a sister.

All that knew her, loved her. She will truly be missed.

Service will be Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Thomas Memorial Baptist Church, West Washington Street, Quincy, Florida. The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM in the Sanctuary of the Church. Interment will be later at Mt. Zion Cemetery in the Glory Community in Gadsden County, Florida.
