Lancaster- Fran (Vienneau) Gadoua, “Mrs. G,” 91, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at the Life Care Center of Leominster.
She is survived by her children, Anne Jamieson, Mary LaBeck, Jeanne Rich, Mark Gadoua & wife Linda, Paul Gadoua, Diane Boisse, and Greg Gadoua & wife Donna; 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces, notably Christine Innamorati, extended family and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Maurice H. Gadoua, her infant brother Joseph Vienneau, daughter-in-law Sheila Gadoua, and sons-in-law Lynn Boisse, and Paul Rich.
Daughter of the late Joseph & Mary Anne (LeBlanc) Vienneau, Fran was raised and educated in Clinton, graduated from the Clinton High School, Class of 1950, and achieved her professional degree from the Worcester School of Business Science. Fran worked for several companies throughout her career to support her family, most notably as a secretary for Kelly Plastics, before managing the office and accounts alongside her son Paul in business, at Mr. G’s Gulf in Clinton. A woman of great faith, she was a long-time member of Immaculate Conception Church in Lancaster and parishioner of St. John the Guardian of Our Lady in Clinton. Affectionately known to family and friends as “Honey Bunny,” she could always be found in the stands cheering on the achievements of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren at all of their games, competitions, and special events. A proud matriarch, Mrs. G was happiest in the company of her family, sharing stories, laughter, and love.
Calling hours will be held from 4 until 7PM on Monday, July 28, 2025 in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton, with burial to follow in Eastwood Cemetery, Lancaster.
