Evelyn Ignacio

Dr. Evelyn Roa Ignacio, 75, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, surrounded by her family and friends.

Born on May 10, 1950 in Cebu, Philippines to Santiago H. Roa and Leonora L. Roa. Evelyn grew a love for helping everyone.

She was deeply committed to serving others throughout her life. She served her community as a devoted doctor for many years and loved by all.

She was the strength in the lives of those who knew her — caring, selfless and always ready to help anyone in need. She took care of everyone around her, always putting others before herself. Her courage and determination never wavered and she fought with grace and strength until her very last breath.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers James Roa Jr, Gerardo Roa III, and Joseph Roa.

Her memory lives on by her loving husband of 39 years, JR Ignacio; their children Michael Justin Ignacio and Ashley Ignacio. Her son in law DJ Casey and her beloved grandchildren Annalynn, Aviana, Josiah, Selena, Jonathan. Evelyn is also survived by her siblings: Jane Andoque, Brenda Padua, Vivian Malubay, Jocelyn Roa-Avestruz, Asunción Gilda Bernardino, Josephine Roa, and Emmanuel Roa.
