Eugene Macri

Eugene “Geno” Macri, age 84, of Villa Park, passed away on August 9, 2025.

Beloved husband of 34 years to Janice; loving dad to Geno Macri, Amy (the late Tony) Hensley, Tony Macri, Paula (Matthew Kujawski) Bianchi, and Christa (Ben) Massanisso; Beloved Papa to Hayden and Gabriella Hensley, Samantha (Alex) Matos, Benjamin and Dominic Massanisso; adored brother of Ernie Macri. Geno was preceded in death by his seven siblings. Geno was a beloved friend and neighbor to many.

Geno was an auto mechanic at Sears for 30 years. He was a machinist at Dunlee for 15 years.

Geno loved to roller skate where he met his lovely wife. He loved baseball, especially the Chicago Cubs. He never missed watching a Chicago Bears game.

Geno was a member of the Oldsmobile Club of America, and loved working on cars in his garage. He was seen at the Lombard Cruise Nights showing off his classic car.
