Enedina Mendoza-Escobar

Enedina Mendoza-Escobar, 75, of Momence, IL, died on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at the Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL. She was born on June 9, 1950, in Mexico, the daughter of Aureo Mendoza and Guadalupe Escobar. She married Roberto Aviles Urauiza. He survives in Mexico.

She is survived by her sons and daughters and sons-in-law and daughters-in law; Froylan Aviles (Bertha Fajardo), Edgar Aviles (Maria de Los Angeles), Humberto Aviles, Roberto Aviles (Guadalupe Ramirez), Erico Aviles (Josefina Aviles), Fermin Aviles, Ever Aviles, Nereyda Fajardo-Aviles (Freddy Fajardo), Hermel Aviles (Anayatzin Orozco), Rosa Aguilar-Aviles (Heriberto Aguilar). Also surviving are her brothers and sisters; Virginia Mendoza, Rufina Mendoza, Leoniles Mendoza and Susana Mendoza. She is dearly loved by her nineteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Also, many more family members will miss her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother; Aurelio Mendoza and sister; Marcelina Mendoza.

She was a member of the Maternity BVM Catholic Church in Bourbonnais, IL. Enedina loved to garden.
