Elma Bowman

Elma Creech Bowman, widow of Kenneth Blanton Bowman and daughter of the late Clayton and Bessie Deaton Creech was born in Lee County, Kentucky on July 29, 1936 and departed this life in Winchester, Kentucky on June 25, 2025 at the age of 88 years, 10 months, and 27 days.

Mrs. Bowman leaves behind one daughter, Diane Gayheart of Winchester, Kentucky; two sons, Dwayne Bowman also of Winchester and Dean Bowman of Louisville, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Amanda Corman, Whitney Bowman, and Ashley Borders all of Clark County, Kentucky; four great grandchildren, Landon and Layton Corman, Kaisen Hill, and Asher Borders; one brother, Drexel Creech; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Bowman was preceded in death by three sisters, Opal Marshall, Hannah Mae Phillips, and Margaret Williams.

Anthony Gayheart, Dwayne Bowman, Dean Bowman, Landon Corman, Tyler Borders, and Jamie Morton will have the honor of serving as pallbearers.
