Ellen Gould

Ellen Ruth Gould (née Weinstein) passed away on October 17, 2025.

Ellen was a woman of remarkable strength and quiet perseverance. She overcame the challenges of her early life, putting herself through junior college and later earning both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. While she took great pride in these accomplishments, Ellen considered her family to be her greatest achievement.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, her two sons, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her beloved sister.

Ellen was known for her intellect, creativity, and determination — qualities she passed on to her children and demonstrated throughout her life. She approached every challenge with purpose, compassion, resilience, and courage.

A celebration of Ellen’s life will be held in early January 2026.

Ellen left this world exactly as she lived in it — on her own terms, surrounded by the love of her family.
