October 29,1932 – September 4, 2025
Eleanor was born in Bessemer MI to Hjalmer and Anna Piispanen, where she began her love for her Finnish heritage, love of accordion music and most of all dancing. Especially the Polka!
Eleanor moved to Milwaukee at the age of 18 where she later met her husband Bill of 61 years, together they raised their children Diane (Steve) Alexander, Sharon (David) LaCoursiere, Paula (Phil) Engle, Son Steve Schafer, Carol (Todd) McFarlane.
She is the fun loving Grandmother to 14 amazing Grandchildren and 14 equally amazing Great Grandchildren.
Further survived by her sister Helvie and other friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 10, from 4:00 PM, until time of Service at 6:00 PM
CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1875 N. Calhoun Rd. Brookfield.
Private interment Highland Memorial Park.
