Eglandira Evans

Eglandira “Sandee” Evans, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. She was born November 5, 1942, in Colorado City, Texas to Moses and Juanita Garcia.

Sandee, as she was affectionately known, was a member of St. Francis of Cabrini Catholic Church in Granbury. She was an ICU nurse at Lake Granbury Medical Center for 30 years. Sandee enjoyed her yard and being outdoors and doing her yardwork. She loved her kids and grandkids dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Moses (Jr) Garcia.

Sandee is survived by her children, Anthony (Tony) Evans and wife Karen, Christopher (Chris) Evans, and Marcy Donias (Scott Broom); granddaughters Jessica Evans, Samantha Evans, Elizabeth Tobias, and Ellie Evans; siblings, Rey Garcia, Debbie Petterson, Celia Brunner, Edie Martinez, Rene Garcia, Evie McQueen, and Ruben Garcia and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
