Edwin “Ed” Harkins
Edwin “Ed” Maurice Harkins, 81, went to his Heavenly home on November 25, 2025 in Glen Rose, Texas. Edwin was born June 15, 1944 in Glen Rose, Texas to Ralph Lonzo Harkins and Millie Arminda Lucille Cox.
He was an air conditioning technician and worked for Shaw A/C for many years. He later opened Ed’s Air Conditioning and ran that business for numerous years.
Edwin is survived by his wife, Jerri Harkins; daughter Lynn Lewis, husband Jame; son Wendell Harkins, wife Lisa; grandchildren Will Lewis and wife, Alexa, Jamie Lewis and wife Holly, Korby Combest, Darci Harkins, Demi Harkins; great-grandchildren, Reese, Brecken, Blayke, Carol, Daxton, Paisleigh; sister Cyntha “Bitty” Parsons.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury, Texas from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Post Oak Cemetery, Glen Rose, Texas beginning at 2:00 PM.
