Edward (Jim) Larry

Mr. Edward Charles Larry (aka: Jim) is the son of the late Jessie Floyd Larry, Sr. and Mary Lee Johnson. He was born November 27, 1956 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. 

Edward Charles Larry (aka: Jim) age 68 of Crestview, Florida passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the North Okaloosa Medical Center Crestview, Florida. 

He was educated in the Okaloosa County School District and attended the following schools: Carver Hill, Northwood Elementary, Richbourg Jr. High, and graduated from Crestview Sr. High in 1976.

After graduating from High School, Jim went into the military where he served his Country Honorably while in the United States Army from November 1978 to May 1981. He worked in the Construction Business as a Concrete Finisher for many years. Jim was a very kind-hearted man who helped others when needed. He always kept his family smiling when telling his jokes. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. He accepted the Lord on April 16, 2025. 

Jim was preceded in death by his Father: Jessie Floyd Larry, Sr, Mother: Mary Lee Johnson (Abraham Johnson), and five Sisters: Thelma Larry, Jessie Pearl Williams, Sarah Jean Union, Willie Pearl Bess, and Eartha Charles South. 

He leaves to cherish his memories, his Sisters: Mary Louise Jackson of Crestview, FL; Joyce (Melvin) Gordon of Tacoma, WA; Linda Beatrice Smith of Crestview, FL; Ida Hooks of Troy, AL; Ronda Larry of Atlanta, GA; Anita (William) Montgomery of Woodbridge, VA; his Brothers: Jessie F.(Betty) Larry, Jonathan (Sharon) Larry, James A. Larry, Ervin (Cynthia) Johnson, all of Crestview, FL; Stanley Larry of Montgomery AL, and Brother in-law: James Bernard South of Crestview FL; A Special niece, Shaponda Gainer Merritt of Crestview, FL, who went above and beyond to take care of her uncle Jim. He was blessed with a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friend
