Duane Sinette

Duane Allen Sinette, 77 of Holcombe, WI passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 21st, 2025

in Ladysmith, WI.

Duane was born at the family’s farm house on September 14th, 1947 in

Holcombe to Lester Sr and Iola (Green) Sinette.

Duane attended and graduated from Lake

Holcombe School. After graduation he joined the U.S. Army and after serving his country, he

went on to obtain his Associates Degree in Tool and Die Making and Repair at Gateway

Technical College in Racine, WI. He loved old western movies, tinkering with machinery, and

browsing auctions for his next project. Duane was preceded in death by his parents, brothers

Francis Sinette, Lester Jr. Sinette, John Sinette and his nephew Mark Feezel.

He is survived by his siblings, Trefly (Rosemary) Sinette of Wisconsin Rapids, Richard (Sue)

Sinette of Marshfield, Mary Hawkins of Kingston, TN, and Leah Sinette of Holcombe; Nieces

and Nephews April Anderson, Jean Ann Kloth, Leslie Stowe, Dennis (Kenna) Sinette, Pam Karl,

Dawn (Gary) Barton, Rick (Karen) Sinette, Lori Hovseth, Kelley (Steve) Weese, John (Holly)

Sinette, Danny Sinette, Heather Sinette and many great nieces and nephews.

The family will be holding a celebration of life on May 24th, 2025 at Birch Creek Town Hall from

Noon to 4PM.
