Dr. Michael Anderson

Michael Jerome Anderson, 76, went to be with the Lord on August 30th, 2025, surrounded by his family in Garden Grove, California. Born in Michigan in 1948, Mike was a devoted servant of Christ, a loving father, and a husband of 50 years to his wife Margarita. He had a missionary’s heart and was known for his unwavering faith and kindness. He spent his career as an Optometrist in the City of Orange, as well as, an aide to his son Jonathan, in his early years of mainstream education. He is survived by his wife, six children, and six grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held at Melrose Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary on September 12th. Galatians 2:20 summarizes his life mission well, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
