Stewartsville, Missouri…Donald “Donnie” Gene Jackson, age 80, was called home by his Lord and Savior on September 11, 2024. He was born July 11, 1944 in St. Joseph, Missouri, the son of Marlin and Geneva Jean (Gibson) Jackson.

He married the love of his life, Peggy (Hamann) Jackson on May 21, 1966 and to this union two daughters were born.

Donnie enjoyed coyote hunting and farming. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Hatton, MO. Donnie was extremely proud of his family and loved spending time with them.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Ernie Winslow; and infant twin sisters, Janet and Janice.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Peggy; daughters, Marlene Klepees (Clifton) and Angie Winslow; sister, Connie Keller (Gene); four grandchildren, Paul (Margie), Kyle (Caela), Emily (Duke), Erin (Rene); 8 great-grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 9:30 ~ 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Turner Family Funeral Home in Stewartsville, MO, with Graveside services  11:30 a.m. Saturday at Stewartsville Cemetery.
