Donna Wade
Donna Rae Wade, age 94, of Plano, IL passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Sandwich Living and Rehab Center in Sandwich, IL. She was born on April 28, 1931 the daughter Ardith Augusta Anderson.
Donna was a lifelong resident of Plano, IL. She graduated from Plano High School as an honor student (D.A.R.) in May of 1949. Donna was united in marriage on September 30, 1949 to Richard C. Wade Sr. and they spent the next 57 years happily together until his passing on July 27, 2007. Mrs. Wade was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Plano, IL. She was formerly employed by CTS Knights, Stupka’s, Hemmingson Hardware and as a seamstress. Donna and Richard enjoyed traveling to Yogi Bear Park, Montana, Florida and Disney, and spending Christmas in Arizona.
She is survived by her children, Luella (Randy) Weeks of Batavia, IL, Richard C. Wade Jr. of Plano, IL, Rebecca (Bill) Johnson of Phoenix, AZ, Deborah (Kenny) Burbank of Earlville, IL, Tamara (Mike) Rosenwinkel of Bristol, IL, and Michael (Julie) Wade of Plano, IL; her 22 grandchildren, Julie (Phil) Johnson Hight, Danny (Jessica) Johnson, Aaron Weeks, Sharity Rae Wade, Bret (Allison) Weeks, Rebecca Burbank, Kristen Rosenwinkel, Joe Paquet, Derek (Diane) Weeks, Katie (Bryan) Rosenwinkel Miller, Lindy Wade, Billy Johnson, Jennifer (Steve) Burbank Miller, Carly Wade, Jamie (Ryan) Wade Chatman, Mallory Rosenwinkel, Nicole Wade, Steven Paquet, Jacob Wade, Jordan Wade, Rae Ann Wade, and Nathan Johnson; her 33 great and 4 great great grandchildren; her brothers, Arthur Anderson of Plano, IL and David (Betty) Anderson of Florida; her sister, Jean (Doyle) Gray of Long Point, IL; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Ardith Anderson; her husband, Richard C. Wade Sr.; her daughter, Teresa Wade; her grandchildren, Callie Rose Wade and Michael Arthur Wade Jr.; her sisters, Jane Michaels and Ann Perkins; her sisters-in-law; and her brothers-in-law.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 24, 2025 in the Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano, IL.
