Dianna Lynn Cantler, 56, of Ridgely, MD, passed away on October 23, 2025. She was born on July 10, 1969, in Annapolis, MD. She is survived by her parents; Dianna and Eric Cantler, and O’Ma Colleen Cantler.

Dianna grew up in Eastport and St. Margaret’s, MD, and graduated from Broadneck High School. Even before graduation she worked at Cantler’s Riverside Inn for her uncle Jim Cantler. After graduation, Dianna worked in sales and then for the district court system, before receiving a degree in addiction counseling from Anne Arundel Community College. Using her education she worked as a treatment counselor helping countless achieve sobriety. Finally, working at Eric Cantler Seafood and earning the respect and title of water woman.

Dianna was a devoted mother to Christopher Sullivan; her son with Robert Sullivan, and later a grandmother to Anthony Sullivan and Paige Sullivan. Dianna married Patrick Pollack on June 14, 2008, and remarried him 7 years later because it was just that good. They created their home on several acres in Ridgely, MD. As a blended family, Dianna was a step-mother to Patrick’s children; Christy Lee Hadhazy Patrick Pollack, Jr; and step- grandmother to Elsie Hadhazy. She was the younger sister of Eric Cantler, Jr.

Dianna was proud to be a Marylander and the part her family played in this state’s seafood history. She loved the water and living nearby was such a gift for her. Dianna supported veterans through participation in charity events including Wreaths Across America which coincided with her favorite holiday of Christmas. She enjoyed anything involving the outdoors; hunting, fishing, and, of course, crabbing. She later took on the role of farmer hosting a menagerie of different animals.

Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
