Denise Tremblay(Denyse Routhier), passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025 at the age of 88 years old.
Born in Quebec, Canada, she married the love of her life, George Tremblay, in 1958 and they moved to the United States to start their adventure. Working side by side, they built a family and a legacy. They established or operated General Tree Experts, Tremson Corp., Tremson Recycling, Vails Grove Golf Course and various real estate holdings.
Denise was predeceased by her beloved George, her granddaughter Claire, and many sisters and brothers. She is survived by her devoted children; Marjolaine, Marilyn, George(Christina), John(Lisa), and Robert(Trina); and her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren: Pierre(Lauren), Aaron(Denise), Markus(Amber), Erika(Nick), Stephan, Tyler, Dylan, Nathalie, Deanna, Skye, and Kira.
A woman of deep passion, she loved golfing(especially beating George), bowling, traveling the world with her family, the thrill of a straight and a full house, The Young and The Restless, and when her companions yelled “Bingo”. She was happiest surrounded by her family and created a strong, loving foundation that will live on through them.
Denise’s quiet strength, devotion, zest for life will be deeply missed.
In life and at the table she played “Let it Ride”, with a cigarette in one hand, a cognac in the other and a gorgeous smile on her face.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday September 29, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church. The interment will be private. Calling hours will be held on Sunday September 28, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, NY.
