Dennis Deady

If Heaven has a golf course, Dennis Bernard Deady has already found the perfect tee time. Born in April 1937 and finishing his final round on October 3, 2025, Dennis went out on his own terms—just as he lived.

He leaves behind his high school sweetheart and wife, Myrna Harris Deady, after an incredible 69-year partnership, along with four children, ten grandchildren, three great- grandchildren, and one brother who is possibly still trying to beat his handicap.

A proud graduate of Sunset High School in Dallas, Texas, and Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas, Dennis spent decades in his professional life of construction and safety management, keeping people and property safe, while modifying his equipment and game on any available challenging golf course when time allowed. When he was not fine-tuning his swing, he coached his children in youth sports, cherished and grew his beloved roses, passionately expressed his political views to anyone willing to engage, and unapologetically argued that his way was the right way with unwavering conviction.

Those who knew Dennis will remember him for his determination, grit, and boundless love for Myrna. The fairways of Heaven just gained one very particular—and very passionate—player!
