Debra Bigler

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Debra Ann Bigler at 69 years old. She passed away at her home in Tonto Basin, AZ. She was born in Colorado Springs, CO on April 29, 1956 and went to join the Lord on June 26, 2025. Her parents were Mercedes Rita Kontio (deceased) and Theodore Jack Kontio (deceased). Survived by her devoted husband Mark K. Bigler of 33 years of marriage together. One brother, Theodore S. Kontio. Five children, Tabitha Velazquez, Michael S. Kontio, Tammy Zanzig, Adessa Bigler (step-daughter) and Lisa Bigler (step-daughter). Eight grandchildren, Danton Velazquez, George Velazquez IV, Walter Zanzig, Michael Kontio, Jacob Kontio, Ethan Kontio, Saint Joessph O’Ryale Bernard and Godus Aurelia Dalilah Bernard. One great grandchild, Sylas John Bernard and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She loved her husband, family members and she especially loved her animals which included dogs, cats, goats, donkeys, chickens, and turkeys that she had when she passed. She also enjoyed crafts, camping and fishing. Her parents raised her as a Christian and she was the kind of person who was loving, kind and would help others in need. Everyone that met her loved her and she would welcome with open arms. Debra will be truly missed and we will never forget the love and joy she brought to this world. R.I.P. Debra Ann Bigler. 

We are going to have a Celebration of Life for Debra A. Bigler at the VFW Post#3584 at 405 Main Street, Superior, AZ at 12:00PM.
