Deborah Grasty

Deborah Ward Grasty, age 65, of Hendersonville, NC, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock. Born on September 6, 1959, in Henderson County, she was the daughter of Joyce Wingo Ward and the late Junior Ward.

She is survived by her mother, Joyce Wingo Ward of Horse Shoe, NC; her three children, Sunshine Grasty Dusinberre of Jacksonville, FL, William Dean “Bo” Grasty of New London, NC, and Toby Lee Grasty of Hendersonville, NC; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Cody, Danielle, and Peyton of Jacksonville, FL, Whitney and Morgan of Hendersonville, NC, and Isaiah of Franklin, NC; seven great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Melanie Lassiter of Horse Shoe, NC, and Donna Brenner of Burlington, NC.

A Celebration of her Life will be announced at a later date. Forest Lawn Funeral Home has the honor of serving the family.
