Dean Williams
Elton Dean Williams, 72, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in Lehi, Utah. He was born August 8, 1952, in Price, Utah.
Dean enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1971. His assignments included: Tustin, California; Iwakuni, Japan; Beaufort, South Carolina; Yuma, Arizona and combat deployment, supporting Desert Storm, in Kuwait. He retired at the rank of Major in 1993 as an avionics officer supporting the Harrier fighter jet in Yuma, Arizona.
Following his military service, he continued to support the military through his employment with multiple USG defense contractors including BAE Systems, General Dynamics, Bell Textron and NavAir.
Dean married LeAnn Beveridge in 1972 and they began raising their family of three children later that year. Dean is survived by his wife, LeAnn; children, Jeniffer (Robert) and Michelle; grandchildren, Melynn (Wyatt) & Michael (Whitney), Marisa & Hayden, Colby & McKenna; sisters, Maree & Colleen; and brothers, David & Garry.
Dean is preceded in death by his son, David; father, Elton A.; and mother, Ina.
Interment with Military Honors will be held Saturday July 19, 2025, at the Timpanogos Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Orem, Utah.
