David Helke

David Alan Helke, age 64 of Twinsburg passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025. He was born in Bedford, Ohio to the late Elroy and Evelyn (nee Collin) Helke. He was the beloved husband of Susan (nee Spratt) Helke, loving father of Tyler Helke, cherished brother of Barbara (Steve) Quade, and a dear uncle of many.

David graduated from Nordonia High School in 1980 and Kent State University in 1984 with a degree in Transportation and Logistics. He worked for many years at AIM Integrated Logistics as a Logistics Engineer. To many of his friends and neighbors, he was known as “Mr.Fix-It”. If someone had something broken in their home, he was always willing to help and always had the right tools. He loved making his family and friends laugh with his quirky sense of humor.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Busch-Romito Funeral Home, 99 West Aurora Road (Route 82, 1 Mile West of Route 8), Northfield Center, OH, where a memorial service will be held 11 AM Thursday, October 16, 2025.
