David Dick

David Jerome Dick passed away peacefully at home in Surprise, Arizona on June 20, 2025 at the age of 90, surrounded by family.  

An award-winning photographer, David had a New York City studio where he specialized in fashion and advertising photography.

He married Marcia Horowytz in Cliffside Park, New Jersey on April 4th, 1959, and they resided in Paramus, New Jersey before retiring to Surprise, Arizona.

David and Marcia were avid travelers and David enjoyed photographing exotic sites. He also enjoyed entertaining guests at home and loved pheasant hunting in New Jersey with his German Shorthair Pointers.

He leaves his wife, Marcia, and his sons Leonard (Nancy) Dick and Barry (Lynn) Dick and five grandchildren (Ashley, Alexis, Bradley, Rachel, and Kyle) and one great grandchild, Anna, as well as many nieces and nephews.  He is pre-deceased by his parents Ruth and Louis Dick, and his brothers Irwin and Harold Dick.

Private graveside burial service was held at Beth El Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona. Any donations should be made to a charity of your choice or Divine Hospice in Glendale, Arizona.
