Daniel Hogan

Daniel L. Hogan (nee Neid) of Schaumburg, Illinois died at home Wednesday July 30th, 2025. Dan was the devoted husband of Mary Kay Hogan and proud stepfather of Erin Hallman for 18 years, beloved son in law of Barbara McCauley and Patrick & Marie Hogan, big brother of Brian (Angel), Kelly (Sherry), Gina, and Terrie Menke, and adoring cat dad to his little partner, Jasmine. He was born January 6th,1976 in Aurora, Illinois to Lynn Menke and was predeceased by his grandparents Emily & Rudy Neid. Dan was dedicated to his work at BrainLab, Inc., for 18 years and was thrilled to serve as the bassist for his band, Eclipse Chicago. He will be deeply missed and always remembered for his many theater performances, his love of literature, poetry, history, dad jokes, and most of all his dedication to and passion for music.
