Daniel Brzozowski

Daniel Brzozowski, 86, chosen by God on July 4, 2025, was a devoted husband to Mary (nee, Laskowski) for over 59 years, until her passing in 2021. He was a devoted and caring father of Margaret (Bart) Walek, Jerry (Anne) Bowers, John (Christine, Zoe), and the late James Brzozowski. He was a beloved son of the late Zygmunt and Mary Brzozowski. He was a beloved and cherished grandfather of Ryan Walek and Melissa (Jason) Azzoparde (nee Walek). He was the beloved brother of Sherrill Taylor, fond uncle and great uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

 He was a tireless servant to our federal government for over 35 years before retiring in 1995. Devoted and caring father and grandfather with an always enormous heart to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was an eternal optimist that always looked at the bright side of everything and always had a kind word of love or support to family and stranger alike and he always saw the good in everyone. His devotion to God and strong relationship with Christ our Lord were reflected in everything that he did. His warm and gentle nature made everyone who knew him feel loved and special. We will all miss him deeply for he filled all of our hearts with peacefulness and joy. He was truly a beautiful man and human being in every way possible and we will always cherish our fond memories of him. 

 Family and friends will meet for a funeral Mass at St. John Cantius Church, 825 N. Carpenter St., Chicago, IL 60642 at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Following Mass inurnment at St. Adalbert Cemetery, 6800 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles, will take place. Please meet at the cemetery office at 11:30 A.M. For info 773-774-0366 or www.colonialfuneral.com
