Dale James

Dale Edward James, Age 63, of Asheville NC died Sept 15, 2025, at UCHealth Memorial Hospital in

Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Dale was born and raised in Trotwood Ohio, the youngest son of Muriel Alberta (Seibel) James and

Stanley Dean James. He enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, camping, and boating. Especially the houseboat

vacations where Captain Dale piloted the ship with his crew of nieces and nephews. He spent many

years as an over-the-road truck driver before becoming a small business owner and operator of the

Fairview Market.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, his oldest brother Bobbie, Bobbie’s wife Lois Henry James,

and his sister- in- laws, Dwayne’s wife Kathy Eckart James, and Raymond’s wife Jewell Poole James. He is

survived by his sisters Jennifer James Tenhundfeld (Gregory), Carol James Collins ( William), his brothers

Dwayne James, Raymond James, sister-in-law Elva Anderson James, and his Aunt Lois Seibel. His nieces

and nephews MaryAnn James Edwards (Roger), Michael James (Robyn), Scott James (Noris) , Patty

James Lange ( Steve), Derak James, David James (Elizabeth), Stanley Tenhundfeld (Laura), Teresa

Tenhundfeld Rodney (Ryan), Leah Collins, Shawn Collins, Elizabeth Cook and Robinn Starks. Dale has

numerous cousins, great nephews, and nieces as well as friends that loved him and who miss him.
