Cynthia Sexton

Cynthia Blackwelder Sexton of York, SC, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, May 25th, 2025. Cindy, a native of Fort Mill, was an avid crafter and homemaker.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 19 years, Wayne Sexton of York; her daughters: Jennifer Biggers (David) of Rock Hill, SC, and Joy Eubanks (Stephen) of Enoree, SC; her son, Kenley Clark (Blake) of Dallas, TX; grandchildren: Makayla Roper (Timothy) of Dothan, AL, Cole Jarrett of Fort Mill, SC, and Taylor Jarrett of Enoree, SC; her father Donald “Blackie” Blackwelder of Fort Mill, SC; her sisters: Anita MacDaniel and Julie Faile of Fort Mill, SC, and Donna Workman of Rock Hill, SC; her mother and father-in-law, Gene and Lucille Sexton of York, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews

Cindy was preceded in death by her late husband, Kenneth Dick, and by her mother, Sara Blackwelder.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, at Riverview Presbyterian Church at 124 N Sutton Road, Fort Mill, SC 29704. The memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. following the visitation with the Reverend Tom Sherer officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverview Presbyterian Church and Nami Piedmont Tri County Mental Health.
